Enrichments
We believe it is important that children have the opportunity to explore, question, manipulate, create, discover and make choices in an atmosphere of love, trust and reverence. With God’s help, each child will become the person he or she is intended to be. Learning activities, materials and practices are developmentally appropriate and relevant to the lives of young children.
STEAM
STEAM for young children falls under the umbrella of inquiry instruction. Inquiry instruction encourages active (often hands-on) experiences that support building understanding and vocabulary, critical thinking, problem solving, communication, and reflection. We will facilitate inquiry experiences by creating opportunities for children to learn about the world through STEAM lenses and by asking high-quality, open-ended questions. Inquiry practices provide young children with opportunities to approach problems in new and authentic ways.
Spanish
Spanish class is available to children in our upper building on Tuesdays and Thursdays. This program provides a fun and engaging introduction to a second language while building a strong foundation that will be reinforced in many elementary schools. Through songs, games, and interactive activities, children begin to develop early vocabulary and conversational skills, all while discovering the joy of learning a new language.
Chapel
Chapel is a special time for our students to come together in worship each week. Children enjoy a short, age-appropriate Bible lesson and the opportunity to sing songs of praise with their classmates. This joyful time helps them learn about God’s love while building a foundation of faith in a way that is engaging and meaningful for young hearts.
Fit 4 Fun
At Little Church on the Lane, preschoolers enjoy a fun introduction to physical education. Through playful games and activities, children practice running, hopping, skipping, balancing, and other foundational gross motor skills. Along the way, they build confidence, coordination, and teamwork while developing a love for movement and active play.

Music
Music is provided to our children through Bold Music's Junior Jammers Program. The Junior Jammers program was born out of a simple need: kids need to learn music from a young age, and they need to have fun doing it! Evidence abounds reinforcing the cognitive and developmental benefits of music education at a young age. The Junior Jammers program jump-starts the musical journey in a fun and engaging way, while providing children with age-appropriate skills that lay a foundation for a lifetime love of music!
